Dr. Pritpal Singh
Hi my name is Pritpal Singh Khaira, better known as Pritz. I am the clinical director and practice owner of Barnton Dental Spa where my aim is to provide my patients with the highest possible clinical care in a state of the art, tranquil environment
Having graduated from Glasgow in 2003, I completed two years of full-time postgraduate training and became a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery. During this period I spent my time working within general practice, hospital and community dentistry treating critically ill, special needs, paediatric, highly anxious and dental phobic patients.
I also spent time working in a maxillofacial-unit assisting in the care of head and neck cancer and trauma and gained invaluable experience in minor surgical procedures which has given me a solid base for the placement of dental implants. I am fully qualified to place and restore dental implants.
My passion for dentistry revolves around cosmetic and advanced restorative work where I like to listen to each patient’s individual concerns and tailor their treatment to their specific needs. I also take a keen interest in facial rejuvenation as I feel that it can complement smile makeover treatments. I endeavour to make all my patients feel completely at ease by explaining every aspect of their treatment in a relaxed manner.
I have completed a diploma in cosmetic and restorative dentistry at the University of Lancashire and am a member of the British Dental Association and the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry.
I have also developed a new found love for orthodontic invisible treatments including the revolutionary Inman Aligner and Six Month Smile, two very popular treatment choices in the practice.
Outside of dentistry, I enjoy playing many sports including 5-a-side football, badminton, tennis and squash. I recently gave up Thai Boxing when my trainer told me it’s time for my first professional fight and have since taken up golf where I attempt to get around the course without losing all of my balls. Otherwise, I enjoy spending time with family.
